Don't Let Covid19 Keep You From Enjoying Your Fave Miami Restaurants - Take Out and Stay Home

We're all feeling it.... the days turn longer and longer as we sit at home watching the news and seeing how our cities are shutting down: restaurants, hotels, bars, malls, and entertainment venues. The list goes on and on. Our favorite spots are sending us emails and posting on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram letting us know that they must close their doors to diners in order to help stop the spread of this Coronavirus, Covid19 that is taking the world by storm.

Well, I don't have to tell you how horrible this is for the economy and how it impacts servers, bar tenders and other hospitality staff, along with just about every other industry out there. But there are things we can do to help them and keep our foodie hearts happy.

First of all, we must #StayHome. I know you hear some people say this is an overreaction, or come up with ludicrous reasons why people should still go out, and only the elderly and those with preexisting health conditions should isolate. WRONG! This is impacting everyone, and research has shown that while the elderly and those with compromised immune systems may be suffering the hardest, people in every age group are feeling the wrath and it's dangerous guys. Plus, we don't live in isolation. We have to be socially responsible not just for ourselves, but for the rest of humanity as well.

Having said that, there is no need to let Covid19 keep you from enjoying your favorite Miami food. Many restaurants are providing both take-out options (including curb side) and delivery (some even contactless). So there is no reason to go without when you can satisfy your hungry cravings with delicious grubs while also helping these businesses go through this difficult time - until we can finally all put it behind us and celebrate. I can just imagine how amazing it's going to be to get to watch a show, travel, sit in our favorite foodie spots, and have some cocktails less than 6 feet from our friends.

Here's a list of some Miami staples that are offering take-out and/or delivery to get you started. Remember.... we're all in this together so when the going gets tough.... just get to ordering. #StayHome.
