To Brunch or Not To Brunch... Is That Really A Question? (Part 2)

So as my Tale of Two Brunches continues (and possibly grows to more than just two) I take you over to the west part of town - Doral. Here we have a spot that booms with excitement in the evenings: we're talking music, karaoke, cool cocktails -and now also serves up a killer Sunday brunch.

This spot is Area 41 Doral, located at 10779 NW 41 Street. It's a tiny place but with a lot of spunk and the flavors and presentation of the food are huge. I'll start off by telling you that if you're not sure that you're meeting your minimum vegetable requirements for a balanced diet.... I've got a solution. Check out Area 41's Bloody Mary. Divine! All the way up to the cheese, shrimp and olive skewer laid on the top of the liquid brunch favorite, you will be smiling with satisfied veggie vibes (and a nice serving of vodka to blend it all together).

But let's get down to the nitty gritty.... We tried two of their brunch dishes and they were off the charts. First, let me introduce you to their Salmon Eggs Benedict. If you're thinking the colors make it look like a Van Gogh Painting (see what I did there?), then you're right. But the best part is it tastes even better than it looks. Maybe they should call it "A Starry Morning" with its perfectly poached egg sitting over a nice slice of fresh smoked salmon then topped with a combination of flavorful garnishes.

And for all you sweet lovers (you know who you are) the Nutella Pancakes are insane! There are so many ways I can think of using that delicious, sweet nutella to make the weekend memorable.... They definitely know how to also. It's a must try.

Now that the weekend is here, do yourself a favor and check out Area 41 Doral's Sunday brunch. You'll be glad you did. Let me know how it goes and maybe we can meet up there for some karaoke there soon!
