Popular Fort Lauderdale Italian Restaurant Tímpano Las Olas has revamped their dining experience with a new look, a new menu, and a brunch that takes the meal to a whole new level.
The brunch menu is extensive and absolutely delicious. We started with the Prosciutto di Parma Antipasti which was served with caciocavallo cheese, pickled vegetables and Tuscan bread. Excellent presentation and palate-pleasing taste. I can’t tell you enough how much I enjoyed the Cured Salmon Crostini. Not only was it plated beautifully but the salmon was so fresh and amazing, I chewed very slowly to make the moment last longer.
Tímpano offers three different Eggs Benedict on their brunch menu. We ordered the Florentine Benedict, which sounded very original since it was served with pesto hollandaise. We were right! The flavor combination was outstanding. We also ordered the Shrimp & Grits. My favorite dish! I will make another trip to Fort Lauderdale just to have it again.
Dessert is an amazing experience as well. You are going to love the presentation of their menu. It definitely followed suit with the rest of the meal and continued to impress. We had the Chocolate & Banana Tart which comes with a nice tableside surprise and the Countrystyle Burnt Cheesecake, recommended by our server. A big thank you because it truly was out of this world good.
Along with a menu of original cocktails, you can select the Mimosa Bottle Service for an excellent price. It comes with a bottle of Prosecco and your choice of two different juices. We chose the Strawberry Mango and the Peach and had a party going at our table.
