Who’s ready for an ESCANDALO??? And I’m talking about the good kind. Head on over to R House at 2727 NW 2nd Avenue in Wynwood for a fun and delicious time at one of their spectacular Drag Shows.
Aside from their ever-popular brunch, R House is now also featuring Yas Queen, a drag show running every Friday night at 9 pm, and Escandalo, a Latin-themed drag show and dinner experience on Saturday nights at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, We partied at their Saturday night experience featuring Athena and a glamorous group of entertainers that had us on our feet and shaking our booties.
The menu is fantastic and full of variety. Chef Rocco Carulli sure knows how to take Latin dishes to a whole new level.
We started with the Florida Crab Croquetas, Short Rib Empanadas and Tostones topped with Mojo Verde bathed Lechon Asado and Pineapple. Those bites had our taste buds wanting more.
For entrees we chose the Carne Asada and the Veggie Paella Bowl. The flavors were an ESCANDALO all on their own. We loved them.
Then for a happy ending we indulged in the Passion Fruit Tres Leches and the Rainbow Churros. Que Ricos.
And let me make a special mention of their cocktails. Danggg they were sabrosos. Definitely recommend La Reina Margarita. It was sweet, refreshing and made me feel like a Queen. If you like a kick in your drink, go for El Sancho. Definitely caliente.
Another awesome thing about this experience is that the party continues after the show is over. The DJ and live band rock and you’ll burn those calories in no time. Hurry over and check out R House in Wynwood this weekend.
