J&C Oyster - Classic Seafood with an Asian Twist

Are you ready for a Foodgasmic experience? Let me tell you all about a new innovative restaurant in Hollywood, Florida that blends classic seafood with Asian techniques to deliver pure culinary genius. J&C Oyster is a must-do spot for anyone who is a seafood lover and appreciates fine dining with a twist.



It literally blew us away with their unique blend of flavors and creative seafood dishes. Led by renowned chefs  Raheem Sealy and Monika Dominguez, this refined spot is already a hot spot in the dining scene.



Our dinner adventure began with a half dozen mixed raw oysters from both the east and west coast. Shuck they were good! Fresh and briny, they came served with nam prik mignonette, and horseradish cocktail sauce.



Here’s the rest of the lineup of our culinary adventure:



🐟 Confit Tuna-Served with garlic & lemongrass infused olive oil, escabeche peppers, and crispy tortilla chips. We literally cut the last piece in half because neither one of us was giving it up.



🐠Hamachi-The way the fish is prepared with the white ponzu, serrano, and garlic oil is genius and absolutely unforgettable.



🥩Steak Tartar-Wow! I’ve never had this dish prepared as deliciously as this one. Mixed with truffle mayo and parmesan atop oori’s milk bread, the raw meat was divinely flavorful. 





🐡 Chilean Sea Bass-One of my favorite fish and after one bite, we both agreed this was one of the best preparations we’ve ever had. I think the miso elevated it to a whole different level.



🦞Lobster Risotto- Mindblowing! Made with sushi rice, lobster stock and mascarpone, there was so much lobster in it, we enjoyed a piece in every bite.




A big part of the menu is comprised of shareable dishes and I love that. Service is outstanding too! Stay tuned for my upcoming reel where you get to see all the dishes up close and personal, and bite into them along with me.
